Final dissemination seminar


The final dissemination seminar for the "Programme for the Sustainable Development of Enterprises in Romania with Focus on Enhancing National Expertise in CP and CSR Methodologies in Particular for the Tourism Industry" was organized on 25 of November in Bucharest at Halcyone Room of Radisson Blu Hotel and had three main goals:
  1. Presentation of the Programme results towards stakeholders and media
  2. Awarding ceremony for participation hotels
  3. Awarding ceremony for the national experts which successfully finalized the programme activities
In order to achieve a greater impact on the tourism sector in Romania, the seminar was organized as part of the most well know tourism conference in Romania - Hospitality Trends Bucharest 2010, organized by the Consortium partner, Trend Hospitality.

Hospitality Trends Bucharest reunited major institutions across the hospitality industry, private and institutional investors, representatives of corporate banking, hotel owners, operators, specialized architects and other firsthand actors from this area.

The National Center for Sustainable Production and Consumption participated as partner in the conference realization and organized the final dissemination seminar of the programme as an integrated event in the conference.

For the final dissemination seminar, the Center for Sustainable Production and Consumption invited all participating hotels, all participating national experts, representatives of Swiss Embassy and SECO, representatives of Ministry for Regional Development and Tourism, representatives of Ministry of Environment and Forests, NGOs and media.

Whit this occasion flyers, brochures and information material was distributed to more than 200 participants in the conference and a stand-up roller was realized and presented in the promotional area of the conference.

Mr. Eugen Dicones Curteanu - State Secretary of Minister for Regional Development and Tourism

During the awarding ceremony, 14 hotels received the participation diploma for their successful participation and completion of the programme, 13 CP and 14 CSR consultants received also the participation certificate after their successful completion of programme training sessions and on the job activities.
NCSPC awarded also the participating hotels employees which contributed to the implementation of the CP and CSR options identified during the programme
Awarded hotels Awarded CP and CSR consultants With the ocasion of the seminar, the National Center for Sustaible Production and Consumption presented its new official structure as an NGO and its objectives and strategic direction according to the RECP concept.
